Summer Camp sign-ups begin June 5th!
WIRED Jr. High is headin' back to Summer Camp at Hume Lake this July 10-16, 2011. In an age of constant technology, media and entertainment, camp is a great place where middle schoolers are free to focus on their relationship with Christ, meet new friends, and have a blast with the ones they already have.
There will be a discount price of $299 from June 5 - June 11. After June, 11 the cost will go up to $340. This includes transportation, six nights and seven days of camp fun, all meals and lodging.
Sign-ups begin June 5th. A $100 non refundable deposit will hold you spot. Spots are limited, so do not wait to sign-up! (Payment plans and limited
scholarships are available).

WIRED Wednesdays
Wired amps it up on Wednesday nights!
This is a service designed for Jr. High students. It will be filled with worship, games, videos, and a biblical messages that are relevant to Jr. High students inspiring them to be more Christlike. Dont miss out and bring a friend!
All starts on Wednesday, Sept. 9th.

Time - 6-7:30pm
Sunday Morning Life Groups
Life Groups return on a new day! Life Groups return on Sunday, September 19th for a morning of celebration and worship as we begin the year off right. Each Sunday morning small groups meet for accountability, Bible study and discussion. They provide students the opportunity to dig deeper into God's word and be under the guidance of an adult mentor.

Operation Christmas Child
How to Pack a Shoe Box
1. SHOE BOX
Use an empty shoe box (standard size, please) or a small plastic container. You can wrap the box (lid separately), but wrapping is not required. Most importantly, pray for the child who will receive your gift.
2. BOY OR GIRL?
Determine whether your gift will be for a boy or a girl, and the child’s age category: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14.
3. FILL WITH GIFTS
Fill the box with a variety of gifts that will bring delight to a child.
4. DROP OFF
Place a rubber band around each closed shoe box and drop off at the church during life groups this Wednesday night or at church on Sunday morning.
GIFT IDEAS
TOYS
small cars, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yos, jump ropes, small Etch A Sketch®, toys that light up or make noise (with extra batteries), Slinky®, etc.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
pens, pencils and sharpener, crayons or markers, stamps and ink pad sets, writing pads or paper, solar calculators, coloring and picture books, etc.
HYGIENE ITEMS
toothbrush, toothpaste, mild bar soap (in a plastic bag), comb, washcloth, etc.
OTHER
Hard candy and lollipops (please double bag all candy), mints, gum, T-shirts, socks, ball caps; sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries)
A PERSONAL NOTE
In a separate envelope, you may enclose a note to the child and a photo of yourself or your family. (If you include your name and address, the child may write back.)
