Current Series: What's Next?

I have put the outline of my messages on this blog to keep all the parents informed of what is going on in the Jr. High Ministy.
I am currently doing a two week series titles "Whats Next?" A short look at forever.

This past Sunday, I spoke on the reality of Hell.
Here is the outline:
Sooner or later, everybody asks: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I DIE?
He has also set eternity in the hearts of men (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

There are only two options: HEAVEN or HELL
“Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate! The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way”
(Matthew 7:13).

What Hell Is:

HORRIBLE
“They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 13:42).

ETERNAL
They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power (2 Thessalonians 1:9).

LONELY
“And many shall be cast into outer darkness, into the place of weeping and torment” (Matthew 8:12).

LEGITIMATE

What Hell Is Not:

Hell is not INTENDED for YOU!
The Lord is patient toward you, not wishing for any to
perish but for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

“There are many homes up there where my Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for your coming. When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so that you can always be with me where I am. If this weren’t so, I would tell you (John 14:2-3).

Thought for the Week:
HELL is no place to call HOME!
